Last update for 08

Well the clock is ticking to the New Year. The clock is also ticking as we countdown the move into our building. I walked the building yesterday and could see more progress. The tile is down in the bathrooms and fixtures are coming soon.

The stage walls are completely up and being finished. The first of our sound and light booths has been built. Painting is happening everywhere. I believe everyone is going to enjoy the look of our new building.

Here is the prayer request - GOOD WEATHER in January. We need a week of over 40 degrees and no rain/snow to get the parking area finished. Pray for weather and for the safety of our construction team.

We had a great end of the year Sunday and thanks to everyone who gave in the End of Year Offering as well as to the Captial Campaign. We are nearing $100,000 dollars toward our "Finish Line" campaign.

It is getting really exciting around here and we all can't wait to make the move. 2009 is going to be an awesome year for Horizons church and for the Kingdom of God. Thanks for your prayers, your support, and your service. Horizons is a church made up of people that care about Advancing the cause of Christ. We are the Church and the Church is the Hope for the world.
