The very last beams to be placed in the building have been set. These are the beams that we wrote scriptures and prayers on last June. The beams will hold the roof over the main entryway. It is interesting to note that these beams will be connecting the auditorium and the gym/fellowship hall. Horizons is all about connecting. We connect to God and to each other. The vision, the prayers and the scriptures will be just overhead as we connect people with the Lord and as we fellowship together.
Also the interior walls are going up. Looking at the steel studs you can begin to see the size and shape of the offices, coffee/library area etc. The studs are also up in the gym as the prepare to finish the walls up to the ceiling. All the electrical and duct work is happening as this is being written. It truly is exciting.
