First Wall done

The first wall has been formed and poured. Footers are being set around the property and the delivery of building has begun. You can see lots of activity at the site as they get ready to pour the foundation. The walls have been delivered and things are starting to move fast.

As we noted in the previous post a date for prayer is coming soon. Stay tuned and keep your ears open as we would love to have you at our foundational prayer time.

Foundation

They are putting in the foundation - will you pray for the construction teams as they put in the foundation for our new facility.

We will announce a time to gather at the property and pray and maybe even put something cool/special in the foundation - more to come on that soon.

Latest pictures

As you can see we are making great progress. Here are some pictures of the steel that has been delivered and the newly dug basement. A retaining wall is being built and you can see that there is some new acitivity. We hope to have some additional pictures up to show you even more progress.

Anticipation

We are all anxiously awaiting the construction of our facility. We had to resubmit our building plans to the county and there was a delay with some final approvals. The good news is that all plans have been approved and we anticipate that our building permit will be issued this week. Once that happens, we will pour the foundation and begin constructing the structure. Praise God!

Can You Feel It

It's the excitement building as we see action on our property. The contractor will begin the site clearing in earnest over the next couple of weeks and by the first week of December we should have a timeline for the construction process posted.

The clearing has begun

Yes it is true, the church ground is seeing some action. Permits for grading have been issued and we have seen the first trees fall. It is an exciting time for Horizons. It does put a smile on all of our faces to drive by and see this kind of activity. It should move pretty fast now. Keep on watching, and praying as we see this building come to reality.
